Here is a tidbit from Ted Reader’s Gastro Grilling cookbook. Shot in and out doors this past winter. Whole fish and lemon grilled over hard wood

Shooting for Robert Rainfords new book was a blast. We worked in his backyard for the most part and everything was done outdoors to give a real live backyard grill feeling and lots of natural light. The book finally comes out this spring. Heres a quick sample of what’s to come. Cheers
I recently wrote up some thoughts on tasty burgers for winefox.ca and had the pleasure of trying out a few new burger joints. Here’s one I devoured. There was a puddle of burger juice in the bottom of the basket after my first bite, it was that good.
Grilled cheese mid flip during the first installment of the Food Truck Eats festival in Toronto, July 2, 2011. The folks at Gorilla cheese and others involved are looking forward to the next one, August 20th in the distillery district. Go get them eats!
Adam and Tamara of El Gastronomo Vagabundo, Niagara’s only taco truck, served up these tasty Steak Tartare lettuce wraps at a diner a while back. They served up a lot more than that, but we can talk about that later.
Easter happens to be one of those times of year where my wife reveals the layers of tradition she grew up with. I sit back and enjoy the show, and the smells coming from our little kitchen. Taking advantage of a little window light, we can see some of her handy work.
Camera Spec for those who care: Shot with Canon 5D, Canon EF 50mm f1.2 Lens f/1.6 1/80sec ISO 400 natural light courtesy of the dinning room window

It’s time to sit and watch the trees drip. Pretty exciting stuff when you think of the final result. Sweet Sticky Canadian Sugar Maple Goodness. The local conservation areas and parks are dripping with the stuff right now, and you can go and see it and taste it for yourself. Give Aunt Jemima the day off and go get yourself some of the good suff! Cheers.
